# Permission Settings of Related Items

Once this setting is enabled, if an event has been shared to a user, the user will be able to view the details of the shared event even though initially the user did not have access to it. \
\
Even if this setting has been enabled, and the user has been shared an event as mentioned previously, the user will still not be able to find the particular event using search function.

Currently, this function is applicable to the following item types in the system: tasks, plan reports, orders, market activities, leads, customers, contacts, opportunities, contracts, products, documents, and processes.\
\
The creator/ person-in-charge of the item can still explicitly prohibit permissions to access the item being passed on through sharing by participants.
