# Saving Attachments from IM to DMS

In IM, when another user sends a file, the current user can choose to save the file to Document Managements System by right clicking on the received file in IM, and select “Save”, this will prompt the user the option to select directory for the file to be saved.\
\
The file can be saved to either Public Space or Personal space.
